Here is the single best thing about the world of small businesses–it provides you with the opportunity to make the acquaintance of and befriend a whole host of interesting, talented, and creative women who often go out of their way to support one another. The latest example of this is a photo shoot that brought together local boutiques, stylists, and artists just for the purpose of cross-promotion and for the sake of creativity. We played a very (very, very) small part in bringing it together–we lent them our shoes. To be honest, when Marisa of DC Style Factory asked us to lend out merchandise for the effort we agreed readily without investigating it any further. We have worked with the stylists at DC Style Factory long enough to know that if they want us to be apart of something we want to be apart of it, too.
When we saw the resulting photos, we were floored. The talent of those involved is extraordinary, and we are excited to have contributed even in such a small way. Here are just a few of the final shots, but head over to DC Style Factory’s website for Marisa’s behind-the-scenes details and many more photos!
