Elizabeth: My top picks include everything from the ultra-practical to the I-just-want-it-because-it’s-pretty. With that said, nothing I own is ever truly impractical because I have plantar fasciitis and must wear shoes that are kind to my feet. The new Supergas without laces will quickly become my go-tos and the Badgley Mischka blingy sandals can easily be dressed up with a white dress or down with boyfriend jeans and a white jacket.
Patience: I don’t wear a lot of color so most of my shoes are neutrals or metallics. Luckily for me, even though it’s spring I have a lot of shoes to choose from–my favorites include metallic oxfords by Freda Salvador and luggage-colored slides by Rachel Comey. The black suede Stuart Weitzman wedges are a reminder that suede is no longer limited by season; it can worn all year long!
Christen: If you know me and my style, the flat and short-heeled sandals on this list shouldn’t surprise you. However, the fact that there is not just one but TWO pair of pumps in my top five is surprising even to me. I have a very narrow heel and typically find pumps both uncomfortable and difficult to wear. However, the lower, stacked heel on the neon pumps by Butter and the colorful pair by Stuart Weitzman ensure all-day comfort. They also fit beautifully–I’m not sure what to attribute that to other than superior quality but whatever it is, I’m down with it!
