We just slashed prices again. Fall and winter shoe styles are now 50% off the original price; and seasonal clothing, shoes, and accessories are 60% off.
And don’t forget about the Warehouse Sale happening NEXT WEEKEND! (How did that happen? How is it already almost February?!)
We are always on the lookout for new brands for The Shoe Hive. It helps keep our products interesting and our customers interested. Spring 2016 brings with it a new designer about which we are very excited: Jerome Dreyfuss.
To be honest, the main reason we wanted to carry Jerome Dreyfuss is that it would get us one step closer to Isabel Marant–his wife. That aside, his bags are masterpieces and the Paris-based brand is growing in popularity. Here are the bags that came in our first shipment. And there are more coming soon!
We were planning on hosting a flash sale on our Hunter boots and accessories through the weekend…but then we had to close. So, the sale is extended through today! Take 30% off ALL Hunter products. That’s right, not just the boots. We have the original fleece liners, ultra-cozy quilted down liners, luxury shearling insoles, everything you need to turn your rain boots into bonafide snow boots.
Don’t own a pair of Hunters? Now’s the time! 100% weatherproof, we have the original tall and short boots as well as a host of specialty styles. Some of our personal favorites include the rubber biker boot and the shearling-lined leather boot.
Recently, Northern Virginia Magazine reached out to Elizabeth in hopes of featuring her in a sort of retrospective piece. They wanted to write about her favorite shoe styles from the first store’s location on South Royal Street as well as her top picks from the current collection. The piece went live a few weeks ago; read on to learn from a pro’s perspective how trends have changed and why she thinks The Shoe Hive has remained popular for well over a decade.

Sundry, a clothing line out of California, continues to be one of The Shoe Hive’s bestselling brands. With the new year came a delivery of new Sundry pieces–a legging, sweatpants, long-sleeve tees, short-sleeve tees, and the most perfect loose-fitting tank in multiple colors.
Patience graciously modeled the many pieces for us and claims that the leggings are her “favorite thing ever!” Christen has already bought the tank in every color, wearing it everywhere from Hot Pilates at Mind the Mat to her recent birthday celebration. And Elizabeth packed many of these pieces for a long weekend at her river house. We might all wear our Sundry pieces differently, but we have all found that the Sundry pieces we own quickly become closet staples. So, tell us: How do you wear your Sundry?
For more inspiration, read Christen’s travel essay on her trip to West Africa and learn how she styled her Sundry pieces there!
