trend tracker: tassels

There are some things that should always be on trend in our opinion. Tassels are among them. The tassel–the sister of fringe–was a big deal in 2011, then took a brief hiatus only to make its big comeback in 2014…especially on jewelry. While too many tassels bring to mind images of stuffy furniture trimmings and graduation, a tassel accent on a necklace for example can add just the right amount of playfulness to an outfit. It’s also an easy, fool-proof way to wear the trend.
